When straightening my hair I always have to worry about frizz or the humidity, which then causes the frizz. So while in Boots I saw the Mark Hill Anti Humidity Shine Spray (my straighteners are made by Mark Hill, so I do have a fondness for his products).
Once my hair is straightend this is the last product I use as it helps tame the frizz and just stop the humidity going to my hair.
As you have probably realised that I love this product, it dsoesn't smell as well when spraying it into my hair so gives a nice scent to my hair as well once it is sprayed. I have repurchased this (Mark Hill products were on offer recently so grabbed 2 of them and sharpish).
Overall a great product to use after you have finished styling your hair to tame the frizz.
Thanks for tuning in

B. Prepared Makeup Primer
I am always on the lookout for a primer that is going to hide my pores, they aren't the greatest thing especially when applying foundation.

Makeup Revolution - Welcome to the Pleasuredome
When Makeup Revolution entered the market, there were rave reviews of their products, and with the release of their Iconic palettes (Urban Decay Naked 1/2/3 dupes), the beauty blogosphere was waiting to see what they would release next. Makeup Revolution didn't disappoint when it released four new palettes (Salvation Palettes), and I have Welcome to the Pleasuredome.

Soap & Glory Hand Maid
Now it is not often that a hand sanitizer will get a blog post all to its own but this one really deserves it. I always like to carry a hand sanitizer as you never know when you might need one and I hate public toilets as some people are NASTY when it comes to personal hygiene.

Bioderma Sebium
Now any beauty lover worth their salt knows of Bioderma, the beauty bloggers/vloggers go crazy for this stuff as the best thing since sliced bread. If you have noticed my bottle isn't the normal bottle that you would see on blogs or YouTube, this is from the Sebium range (green lid) rather then the Sensibo (pink lid).

SEVENTEEN On The Spot Concealer
I previously used the SEVENTEEN on the spot foundation and it was quite a good foundation, applied well the only problem was I needed a lighter shade (which I actually found in the store after I posted the blog post).

Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation
I originally tried the SuperStay 24Hr foundation (Review) a couple of years ago and I liked it so when this came out it found its way into my makeup collection.

SEVENTEEN Cheek Stamp Blushers
As you know I have been dipping my feet in the world of blusher, and they are slowly becoming a staple in my everyday routine.
So while I was perusing the stands in Boots I noted these little contraptions on the SEVENTEEN stand. Well that was it I just had to try them.

Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner
I am crap at eyeliner, my eyelids are more mature and pencil eyeliners drag on my lids and just don't do anything. I worry about using liquid eyeliner so when I heard Benefit were bringing out an eyeliner pen that was going to help even the lost causes of eyeliner, line the upper lids, as well as creating a wing, I thought I may as well push myself in at the deep end and give this a try.

Wilkinson's Brushes
Wilkinson's last year had a massive overhaul of their beauty section in stores, this included adding Essence stands to the majority of stores and then they overhauled their brush range.

Chocolate Truffle - Revlon Parfumerie
I love the Revlon Parfumerie range, the bottles are fantastic and so cute so when I saw there was one called Chocolate Truffle that was it, it had to be tried.
Chocolate Truffle is a lovely dark brown shade and would be great during the Autumn months. I applied 2 coats to the nails as well as the Elegant Touch spray, and I still got the scent of chocolate.
The polish applied well and on the 2nd coat became fully opaque, the brush is small so allows for you to reach into the sides of the nail well. As the brush is small there was a fear that this may cause streaks in the nail but this didn't.
I can't wait to try the rest of the collection in the parfumerie range as well as smell some of the scents.
Thanks for tuning in

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzer
I have heard loads of rave reviews about this bronzer and with Bourjois releasing their bronzer and highlighter combo, I thought it was time to review the original chocolate bronzer.

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara
I love a mascara, I am a mascara addict, there I have admitted it so when I saw this I had to try it out.
On the tube it gives a little diagram showing that when you remove the wand from the packaging a section of the tube cinches on the brush to remove excess product (this to me is a brilliant idea as I hate loads of excess product on a mascara brush).
The mascara works really well on the lashes and because of the little contraption in the tube there isn't a mass of product on the brush, this reduces the chance of clumping (which to me is fantastic). As the brush has thin and small bristles it allows for the brush to catch each lash and apply a good amount of product onto each lash. I find that it also keeps a good curl and there is no flaking (no panda eyes through the day).
I will repurchase this again as it was such a great mascara but at the moment I have the So Couture version to test out.
Thanks for tuning in

Essence Eyeliner Pen
Ever since using the Benefit They're Real pen it has given me a confidence boost to use liquid eyeliner. When Essence launched in the UK it was only at a select amount of Wilko stores in the UK, but just recently they have launched the brand nationwide so when I walked into my local Wilkinson's I had to stock up. One of the products I bought was their eyeliner pen and I will admit it is love.
When applying to the lids the pen doesn't drag and allows for a good application of eyeliner to the lids, it also has great staying power and I can say that it lasts really well throughout the day.
The pointed nib allows for precise application of a fine line or apply using the side of the nib and you have a thick line. Now as a liquid eyeliner novice I found this to be a great product to use and for such a cheap price it didn't break the bank at £2.50 (it can be found on the Wilkinson's website here).

Honey Ryder - O.P.I.
I bought this a while ago and have just got around to using it, Honey Ryder is from the Bond Girls collection for O.P.I (I bought this on Nail Polish Direct, there are still some items left from the range on their website). The whole collection was made up of their liquid sand polishes, these polishes when applied to the nail had the texture of sand when dried (hence the name liquid sand).

December 2014 Favourites
Welcome to another favourites post, I will admit this one is a small one (I only have four favourites from December), but still just as good.

Happy New Year 👍🎉🍷
Happy New Year everyone, I hope you have a great 2015!!
With every New Year comes the resolutions (and then they are always broken by March, that might just be me), this year will be no different, I have set myself the goal of putting a blog post on the blog daily so by the end of 2015 there should be 365 posts by yours truly. I have set myself up a blog planner that should make blogging easier, and I have also set myself some time just to blog on a Sunday afternoon (I will stick to this scouts honour).
I am starting this year full of confidence that I will stick to this plan, and look forward to a December favourites, and a massive empties post (I have been keeping them since August even I don't know what is in there). I'm also going to be starting 2 series this year. Mani Monday will be one of them so every Monday watch out on a Twitter and Instagram for the post of what polish I'm rocking at the moment. I will also be doing a weekly round up on a Sunday showcasing the week's blog post.
So keep your eyes peeled for tomorrow's post and let's see if I can do a post a day!
Thanks for tuning in
Gemma
