Travel Makeup Bag
As you read this I will currently be enjoying the sunny weather in the lovely Butlins Resort in Skegness (it's a family holiday, hoepfully it is sunny).
So while I was working out what to post in my first week back after my really, really, REALLY long hiatus I thought I would show what was in my travel makeup bag.
I will forewarn you that this is a long one, so it might be best to get a snack and a cup of tea just to keep you going.
The makeup bag was a freebie from the Clarins stand when I purchased 2 items in Debenhams, so I thought this would be good for a makeup bag.

Empties
Hey guys, I'm back,
What better way to come back from my long hiatus then by having an empties post, this is a mixture of both June and July, there is not much but there is enough to make a post out of.

Cold Weather Essentials
It is December and Winter is here and it is time for the cold weather essentials to come out and be the main attraction on your vanity or your sink and the wooly hat and gloves to come out from the back of the wardrobe.

The Body Shop Aloe Lip Care
I am always on the lookout for something that is going to tame the dryness of my lips, so when I heard about this from EssieButton on a favourites or skincare video that this was a good moisturising lip balm, I jumped in with both feet.

March/ April Favourites
Welcome to a double edition of my monthly favourites, if you have read my last 2 recent posts you will remember why there has been such a long wait.
On with the show

The Body Shop Big and Curvy Waterproof Mascara
As you know I am a massive mascara fan anything that is going to make my lashes look good, I am also always on the lookout for a good waterproof mascara (my collection is lacking mascara of the waterproof variety).
While I was in The Body Shop I decided to have a try at their makeup and picked up the Big and Curvy mascara in the waterproof version.
This mascara is the bomb, it seriously is unremovable it lasts for ages on the lashes (which can be a pain as you can be at the mirror for ages to try and take this stuff off), but I love it, because I know i I am going out on a night out, or to the beach, or anywhere where there is the minute chance I am going to get wet or sweat I know this stuff will not budge.
One thing that I am not a fan of is the brush, the brush is normal sized but the bristles are really short and some are almost non existent and this then creates my biggest pet peeve, TOO much product on the wand!!
I have found myself looking past this and actually liking the mascara, but as I said have a good makeup remover as this can be a pain to remove.
The mascara retails for £10.00 and can be found in your local Body Shop or online HERE.
This mascara may have too much product on the wand when removed from the packaging but I would repurchase this again as it just lasts.
Thanks for tuning in
Gemma
