B. Makeup Brush Cleansing Wipes

When B.Cosmetics released the brush cleanser spray they then released the brush cleanser wipes, well I am the queen of a quick brush cleanse between washes so I grabbed these to see what they were like.

B. Sun Kissed Bronzing Powder - 112 Light

Summer has been halfie-halfie, we have had some sun and then there has been some showers (but I live in the North of England so we get some crappy weather), and during Summer is when the bronzer comes out of hibernation.

B. Longer Mascara

B. Cosmetics are a stand in Superdrug you don't really take that much notice of normally, the cosmetics carry a mid level price range and remind me of Revoln or MaxFactor. When they had a promotion (i think it was everything half price) I picked up the B Longer mascara.

B. Radiant BB Under Eye Concealer

I am always on the lookout for a good under eye concealer, so while I was in my local Superdrug perusing the B.Cosmetics counter when it was on offer I picked up the BB Under Eye Concealer to try.

B. Dramatic Bold Liquid Eyeliner

As you know I love eyeliner pens, and B. Cosmetics is a brand that I have only really dabbled in, so while I was in my local Superdrug I decided to pick up their B. Dramatic liner pen.

B. Radiant Illuminating Foundation - 010 Linen

I am a fan of B. Cosmetics they have some great stuff in their range and I have previously tried 2 other foundations from the brand.

The B. Radiant illuminating foundation contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin, it also claims to brighten tired skin to create a healthy glow, the foudation is medium coverage (which isn't that bad and I have come to like a medium coverage foundation).

The foundation applies well to the skin and blends with a brush quite well, the colour match is not that bad either. The foundation also boasts that it has 8 hour transfer-resistant wear, well I can admit that I haven't noticed any transfer whether it be on my clothes or hands. The 8 hour wear I am not sure of, add in sweating and that does reduce the time.

I will admit that I do like this foundation as it doesn't transfer and it doesn't look too cakey on the skin once applied, it gives a nice even finish, and the price isn't too bad.

The foundation retails for £9.99 and can be found in your local Superdrug or online HERE but Superdrug do have a lot of offers on the brand every so often (the half price offer is always my favourite).

B. Flawless Complete Coverage Foundation - 010 Linen

I am always on the lookout for my holy grail foundation (this will never happen but you never give up hope). I bought this in my local Superdrug when they had the half price offer on the B. Cosmetics range.

B. Prepared Makeup Primer

I am always on the lookout for a primer that is going to hide my pores, they aren't the greatest thing especially when applying foundation.

B. Eyeshadow Quad - Glisten

I bought this from Superdrug during their 50th anniversary celebrations when B. cosmetics were being sold for half price (I managed to pick up 3 of these quad palettes).

I have to admit this is my mostly used one (you've probably already guessed the reason because it has brown shades). I will admit that the light shade when applied will need to be patted in if you want the colour to show up on the lid, but if using as a highlighter you should be fine. These colours can be worn separately or mixed with other colours in your eyeshadow stash, all the shades blend well.

I admit I do like these colours, and the quad is compact so it will fit into a makeup bag when travelling, the packaging is simplistic in design which I am liking at the moment when it comes to my eyeshadow quads.

June Favourites

I will admit I haven't got that many favourites this month so it might be a short post.

VO5 So Smooth Control Cream
This I used quite recently, but I have had it for ages (I think that is the old packaging), I applied this to damp hair before blow drying my hair, I then put the straighteners through my hair and it just made such short work of straightening my hair. This goes down as a repurchase when it runs out as it was that good.

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter
I bought the small version of this body butter as I wanted to try it out, and I completely fell in love with it, the moisturiser is just so buttery and just melts into the skin. The scent just lasts for hours and it's such a great moisturiser for summer.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette - Iconic 3
This I bought from the Superdrug website, I had read and heard great things about the Iconic palettes and that this one was a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 for a fraction of the cost (I have the Urban Decay Palette on the way so can't wait). The shadows are just so pretty, and I will admit I am set in my ways when it comes to eyeshadow (browns are my thing), so this was just a break from the norm and added a bit of colour to my day.

MUA Blusher - Lolly
I have started to dip my toes into bronzer (that was a great experiment and went well), so I have started with blusher. I bought this one from MUA for £1 (inexpensive so if it went wrong it wouldn't break the bank. This applies well and blends well on the skin as well, this is quite a darkish pink and gives a great pop of colour to the cheeks.

The Body Shop Chocomania Lip Butter
I love the chocomania range (as you all well know), I have had this for a while and thought I would finally start to use it. The lip butter smells gorgeous and feels really buttery when applied to the lips. The staying power of the lip butter is good and fiind myself only applying every so often.

B. Nail Polish - Peach Melba
With summer somewhat here I thought it was time to apply a bright colour to coincide with the warm weather. This is a lovely orange coral shade that becomes opaque after 2 coats, the brush is absolutely huge and applies to the nail really well. I love the size of the brush, I've never seen a nail polish brush that size.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick - Rose Tweed
This is a lovely pink nude colour, this applies really well to the lips and just goes on in just one swipe. The colour is great for when you just want a natural lip colour.

Peach Melba - B.

When it feels like Summer is close to arriving the bright colours come out and this nail polish is no exception.

B. cosmetics can be located in Superdrug stores and it is a brand that I have only just started to dip my toe is (so to speak). This is their first nail polish that I tried and I will admit that I was a little impressed.

The colour is a gorgeous coral orange, and is very pigmented, on first application this went on like a dream (as you can see in the picture the brush is absolutely massive, the biggest nail polish brush that I have seen). On the first coat the nail polish was quite opaque, this did surprise me as I thought because of the colour it would be quite thin and I might be applying 4 coats of this. I did stick with the gospel 2 coats and the polish looked like a dream on the nails.

The brush doesn't leave any streaks and the formula is fantastic not too thin (that it becomes drippy), and not too thick (that it applies like a big massive wodge on your nail). The brush covers the whole nail so it is rare that you have to go back in more then once with the brush.

The bottle boasts that this nail polish is long wearing, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I had this polish on for 5-6 days and I didn't even notice any tip wear on my nails, and when I went in the shower only 3 nails out of 10 had chipped (that's like 30% if I want to be mathematical).

Overall a great polish, great colour, and a great formula (be sure to watch out for my June favourites because I can promise you this little beauty is going to find it's way on the list).

Thanks for tuning in
