GOSH Liquid Pen Eyeliners
Since becoming a beauty blogger I have become a massive fan of liquid pen eyeliners, I've found them so easy to use, and I have used many of these little beauties. I was in Superdrug and picked these up.

Avon SuperExtend Liquid Liner
As you know I have become obsessed with liquid eyeliner, especially of the felt tip variety, so welcome Avon and their Super Extend Eyeliner.

Barry M Blink Precision Eyeliner
I am always on the lookout for a good eyeliner so while I was in my local Boots I picked up the Barry M Blink eyeliner. If you read this blog you may have noticed this in a monthly favourites so read on to find out why I like this eyeliner.

L'Oreal Super Liner - Smokissimo
As you know I love eyeliner, but sometimes eyeliner doesn't love me, anyway I was in my local Boots when I spotted the L'Oreal Super Liner Smokissime and thought I would give it a whirl

B. Dramatic Bold Liquid Eyeliner
As you know I love eyeliner pens, and B. Cosmetics is a brand that I have only really dabbled in, so while I was in my local Superdrug I decided to pick up their B. Dramatic liner pen.

L'Oreal Super Liner Black Crystals
I'm not the biggest fan of liquid eyeliners, we have an understanding, you stay away from me, I'll stay away from you. Thanks to a misunderstanding this liquid eyeliner found it's way into my basket.

Soap & Glory SuperCat Eyeliner
I'm a big fan of eyeliner pens, to me they are just easier to use than liquid eyeliner, as you have more manageability with the pen rather than the brush. Soap & Glory have become one of my favourite brands of recent years, and here I have the SuperCat Eyeliner Pen for you.

Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner - Black Shock
When Benefit released their, They're Real Push Up Liner, everyone went mad for it including me, but after first use the liner just started to go dry and became unworkable.

Barry M Wink Liner
Eyeliner can be a fiddly thing especially if your cack-handed like me so when I saw the Barry M Wink eyeliner, I jumped in and purchased it while also wondering what the hell I was doing buying a marker pen eyeliner

Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner
I am crap at eyeliner, my eyelids are more mature and pencil eyeliners drag on my lids and just don't do anything. I worry about using liquid eyeliner so when I heard Benefit were bringing out an eyeliner pen that was going to help even the lost causes of eyeliner, line the upper lids, as well as creating a wing, I thought I may as well push myself in at the deep end and give this a try.

Essence Eyeliner Pen
Ever since using the Benefit They're Real pen it has given me a confidence boost to use liquid eyeliner. When Essence launched in the UK it was only at a select amount of Wilko stores in the UK, but just recently they have launched the brand nationwide so when I walked into my local Wilkinson's I had to stock up. One of the products I bought was their eyeliner pen and I will admit it is love.
When applying to the lids the pen doesn't drag and allows for a good application of eyeliner to the lids, it also has great staying power and I can say that it lasts really well throughout the day.
The pointed nib allows for precise application of a fine line or apply using the side of the nib and you have a thick line. Now as a liquid eyeliner novice I found this to be a great product to use and for such a cheap price it didn't break the bank at £2.50 (it can be found on the Wilkinson's website here).

July Favourites
Welcome to my July Favourites.
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream - With the hot weather I have been using a lot of light bases, and I have been loving this CC Cream from Bourjois
SEVENTEEN Super Lash Liner - I've had this eyeliner for a while but I have always been scared of liquid eyeliner as I am worried of it going completely Pete Tong. Since using the Benefit They're Real eyeliner I have started to experiment, and this eyeliner is fantastic The nib is wedge shape so you can do a thick or thin line, and because it is a stiff nib it allowed for a more precise handling of the pen when you may have a shaky hand.
Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner - I really do like this liner, it applies well and really does hug the lash line really close.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette - This was a little treat to myself for my birthday, I am a chocoholic, I love chocolate so when I saw this on the Debenhams website I knew I wanted it, and my god it is such a gorgeous palette
Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion - I received this as a free gift with my naked palettes and have been trying this one out, and I have to admit I love it, it lasts ages and really brings out the colour of my eyeshadows. This I will be buying a full sized version as it is just that good.
The Body Shop Mango Body Butter - I love this body butter, I have been using it through summer and it has just such a summery scent
The Body Shop Fijian Water Lotus Mini Purse Spray - I bought this from The Body Shop on Oxford Street when I was in London, and was told by the cashier that it was their new release. It smells really gorgeous and because it's a purse spray it fits really neatly into my bag.
EcoTools Sheer Kabuki Brush - I love a stippling brush, they are good for blending in blusher and bronzer, and also for buffing in liquid foundation
Avon Makeup Setting Spray - This is the most recent launch from Avon their makeup setting spray, this I am in love with. The size of the bottle (125ml) and for £3 (was on introductory offer but retails for £6 when at full price). It sets my makeup well and really helps prolong the life of my foundation.

Brand Challenge: Bourjois
Welcome to my Brand Challenge, here I am going to create a look featuring just Bourjois products. I decided to create a natural daytime look with the products at hand. This post coincides with the J'Adore and Top 5 post regarding Bourjois.
To start of I used the Bourjois Happy Light Matte Primer, this came out of the bottle in a pink shade but applied to the skin it turned translucent. This primer didn't make my face feel too greasy and massaged into the skin very easily.
The next step was my base and due to the warm weather we have been having lately I decided to go with a light base and use the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream, this contains an SPF15 which is great for adding some protection to your face. The CC cream applied well to the skin and while it did cover it was only a light coverage.
For concealer I used the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Eye cream. this applies to the under eye very well (i apply using the applicator but then blend using my fingers), I really like this concealer as it does lighten up my under eye area.
Onto the powder, and I have to admit this was mainly bought for the packaging, it is the Bourjois Java Rice Powder. even though it is a loose powder the product contains a locking system as added protection from the powder going everywhere. This applies to the face really well and sets the makeup, it also adds a subtle sparkle to the skin (not like a disco ball before you start to worry)
Once powder had been applied I then applied some bronzer onto the cheeks, forehead and nose (just to give a bit of colour to the face), for this I added the Bourjois Delice Du Poudre in Medium. This applied well (I like to use a blusher brush as it seems to allow for more definition), and blended out very easily to create some colour on the face.
With the eyes I used Bourjois Little Round Eyeshadow pot in #10 glitter (this is a cream colour with glitter running through it) for the base and then applied #54 essential (a light chocolate brown colour) in the crease and on the outer corners of the eye.
For mascara I used Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume Mascara (waterproof) in black, this is one of the most recent launches from Bourjois and applied well the the lashes.
For the eyeliner I used a light application of Bourjois Queen Attitude Kohl Kajal just on the waterline to define the eyes but only lightly.
On the lips I applied Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Rose Tweed, this was a nude pink colour that applied well and gave of a satin effect to the lips.
Here is the finished article, not too bad if I say so myself, I think I will have to do this look more often especially during the week.
I hope you liked the brand challenge as well as the previous 2 post regarding Bourjois.
Thanks for tuning in

J'Adore Bourjois
DISCLAIMER: I am not bragging about what I have, this series is an insight into some of the beauty brands that I love (J'Adore). I have bought all these products with my own money (some may have been free gift with purchase)
Welcome to the start of a series, every month I will post a brand round-up of some of my favourite beauty brands. This will then be followed up with my Top 5 from that brand and then the day after a brand challenge where I will create a makeup look using only that brands products.
The first brand that I am starting with is Bourjois, this brand came to life in 1863 Paris in the theatre district. The brand's first creator is actor Joseph-Albert Ponsin who created perfumes for the actors and actress of the theatre district of Paris. Ponsin entrusted the company to Alexandre-Napoleon Bourjois in 1868 who turned the brand into what we know today (Brand history from Bourjois)
As you can see my Bourjois collection has grown, this is because it is such a good brand that pushes boundaries when it comes to cosmetics, and they bring out some great products.
I love a good base and Bourjois bring them in spades whether it is as a foundation or as their most recent release their 123 Perfect CC Cream.
I love the Healthy Mix foundation it applies so well and because it is a full coverage foundation you only need a tiny amount.
I have an oily face so I need a setting powder, the one I had been coveting for the longest time was the Java Rice Powder that was released to coincide with Bourjois's 150th anniversary in the same packaging that it was first released in. I will admit I'm not a fan of loose powder and this was a fickle purchase based on packaging but you have to give it to Bourjois they know how to make their packaging appealing.
I've only just recently discovered the benefits of bronzer (I hear the gasp), and the Delice De Poudre was one every youtuber and beauty blogger has been raving about, and it looks like a chocolate bar so I thought I had to try it. It is such a lovely colour and it smells amazing (you will see this in action in my brand challenge post)
When it comes to Bourjois and eyes I always think of their Little Round Eyeshadow Pots, these I do love. They also have an intense range that are highly pigmented and give a stronger colour on the lids.
The original eyeshadow pots come with a mirror in the lid
Bourjois when it comes to mascara love to think about volume, and getting it quick, and with their most recent release of the 1 Seconde Volume mascara (I have the waterproof version) they are really upping their game.
Eyeliner is always a trial for me as I don't apply it to my top lids as it all goes a bit Pete Tong (wrong), so I mainly apply to the waterline and around the lower lash line. Bourjois's Queen Attitude Kohl Kajal with it's conical shape applies a really dark line, it would also be good for the upper lash line as it would allow for you to reach the inner corner a lot easier.
Bourjois's most recent release was the Rouge Edition Velvets, and my god are they good, they apply to the lips like a dream and turn matte and they stay on the lips for ages (it almost seems that you need an industrial strength makeup remover to get it off).
They also have their 3D effet lip gloss, which apply onto the lips really well, these are good if you just want a sheer gloss on the lips with a hint of colour, or even applied over a lipstick.
Before we had the Rouge Edition Velvets, their was the Rouge Edition lipstick, this is in Rose Tweed and is such a lovely nude-rose colour, these just apply so well onto the lips that you only need just one swipe over the lips.
Following on from the 1 Seconde range is the original product to the range, their 1 Seconde nail polish, which boasts one application only and dries in 60 seconds, these are some of my favourite nail polishes from the range, and I love In the Navy (keep an eye out for my top 5 Bourjois).
The polishes are so pigmented whether they are from the 1 Seconde range or the So Laque they apply to the nails so well and stay on for a while as well.
I hope you like this little series that I plan on doing monthly, what are you favourite products from Bourjois?. Keep an eye out for my top five coming soon.

Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner
When you think of gel eyeliner you think of a small pot and an eyeliner brush (well I do anyway), it is a fact well known that I can not apply eyeliner to my upper lids it is a physical impossibility for me, so even entertaining the thought of gel eyeliner was a no no. So when I saw that Avoon had bought out a gel eyeliner in pencil form that was me putting it down on the order form to try out.
The eyeliner is so easy to apply and it is long lasting, it sticks and with it being waterproof that is what I am after, an eyeliner that sticks around a while.
I find that this doesn't need warming up before I apply it, it just goes straight on, the colour is fantastic (yes I know it's black) but it doesn't look too overpowering around the eyes.
Overall a great eyeliner that does last and one of my favourites.

Maybelline Ancillary Master Kajal Eyeliner
These were the new release over the Christmas period from Maybelline, a lot of eyeliners are now using the pointed type of nibs. The shape of the nib looks like it might make it easier to create a winged liner effect.
The eyeliner comes in three colours:
- Pitch Black
- Lapis Blue
- Oriental Gold
I have Pitch Black and Oriental Gold or you today.
When it comes to eyeliner I am not adventurous because if eyeliner goes wrong it ruins everything. The eyeliner is infused with oriental oils and the eyeliner is creamy so goes on really easily.
I did use the gold one over the Christmas period (Gold + Christmas = the whole connection there), and it brightened my eyes up and seemed to make them look a lot brighter as well as wider then normal.
As you know Black eyeliner is my staple it's rare that I diversify, and I do like this eyeliner, but there is a problem that I noticed, when the eyeliner has worn down you're going to have to sharpen the eyeliner BUT it's just one big cone of eyeliner so sharpening it is going to get a bit messy.
As I said I do like the eyeliner and the cone type nib is a good idea especially when creating a winged liner look but one day it is going to get messy when sharpening.

E.L.F. Haul
DISCLAIMER: I am not bragging, I am just showing what products I have recently bought that may show up in future blog posts. I bought all the products with my own money.
I have been wanting to try some products from E.L.F. for a while and recently they had a couple of offers (Free shipping and 50% off when you spend £30)
As you will see this post is a tiny bit picture heavy, as I did manage to get quite a lot of things.
Clarifying Pressed Powder - I love using a face powder to set my make up and for £1.50 this was a bit of a steal, I grabbed the lightest shade which was Ivory, so I am looking forward to using it.
Single Eyeshadow - I have to admit these I bought for the packaging, they remind me so much of NARS packaging, I've already used Wild Wheat and it is such a lovely colour on the lids. They are quite pigmented and go on quite well.
Tone Correcting Powder - Cool - I ordered the tone correcting powder in Cool (I did have a problem with this item as the mirror was hanging out of the casing, I did contact E.L.F and they gave me a refund, I did manage to fix the mirror by using a hot glue gun).
Kohl Eyeliner: Black - This is quite a different eyeliner as it is quite a thick pencil, on the other end it has a smudger to allow you to smudge the eyeliner under the eyes.
Daily Brush Cleanser - I always use No7 which retails for £8 so I wanted to try this as it was half the price.
Mineral Face Primer - I bought the primer in green to help combat redness on the face.
Flawless Finish Foundation: Porcelain - I have gone against the great Lisa Eldridge and bought a foundation online (I do feel a tiny bit guilty about it), I bought the lightest shade to try and see what it is like.
Makeup Mist and Set - You all know what I am like for my setting sprays, this was only £3.95 and is the same amount as MUA (£5), and NYX Matte Spray (£8).
Blending Eye Brush - I'm trying to teach myself how to create a smoky eye so I grabbed a blending brush to help with blending all the eyeshadow together.
Stipple Brush - My Real Techniques stippling brush fell apart on me so I needed a replacement and for £3.95 I thought I would give it a try.
Foundation Brush - You can't have too many foundation brushes
Eye Crease Brush - As I said I am trying my hand at a smoky eye and I thought this would be good for putting eyeshadow in the crease.
Total Face Brush - I was a bit let down by this brush, the bristles are quite rough on the skin, and I did have a lot of them falling out on me.
Loose Eyeshadow - Finally, I bought two of their loose eyeshadow sticks (I had another problem with one of these, if you look closely you can see the crack, same as the tone correcting powder I contacted E.L.F and I managed to fix the product with sticky tape in the end)
Have any of you used any of these products? If so what do you think of them?

Collection Kohl Eyeliner Precision Colour - Black
This I picked up as I love a good black eyeliner, they always make my eyes pop I think, so I bought this eyeliner from Boots.
I mainly use eyeliner in the waterline and just under the eye, so I am always on the lookout for an eyeliner that is going to give a nice bold line to my eyes.
This is a nice eyeliner, it works well with the water line. It stays on fine for a 3 to 4 hours tops before you have to then reapply.
This is good to use on a night out (by the time it starts to disappear you won't be bothered to notice), but if your wanting to wear it during the day, make sure you take it with you.

Natural Collection Eye Lines
I don't have many eyeliners, as I only really use them when I am going on a night out, nights when I want to really bring out my eyes (they are my best feature I think).
Whenever I do use eyeliner I always go for the generic black colour but over the festive period last month I decided to buy a green eyeliner.
Now I admit I only really put eyeliner on my lower lash line and the waterline so when adding this onto my lower lash line it does give a hint of colour but it is quite subtle, so if you wanted the green to stand out then you would have to build the eyeliner up.
Overall it's a nice colour I would wear this on rare occasions when I wanted a specific look.
