As you already know I am a mascara addict, so the next mascara on the blog is Miss Sporty's Lash Millionaire.

Miss Sporty Studio Colour Mono Eyeshadows

I have to admit I haven't got much from the Miss Sporty range (as a beauty blogger who needs to try out things this is a tiny sin). I haven't really been impressed with the packaging it's a bit tween for me, there are a few that aren't too bad, anyway on with the review.

Sense
This is a lovely gold colour very pigmented and applies well to the lid good as a base when creating a smokey eye look

Classy
I have to admit that this is my favourite of the three, it's such a lovely brown shimmer shade, I did try this in the crease but it just came up too light to define my eyes. As you can see it is pigmented so not much is needed if you are using it as a base (this would work with a darker brown shade).

Romance
This is my least favourite of the three it's not that pigmented (as you can see on the swatch) so you end up packing a lot onto the lids to actually look like you have any colour there. If you are going to create a smokey eye it might be good for the inner or outer corners as a highligher but anything else and your gonna be at it a while.

I like the eyeshadows but they are really finely milled, I just use my brush and I'll have loads of product collecting in the ridges of the eyeshadow (this can be a pain). The bumps, although they look pleasing and different they can be a hindrance to picking up any of the shadow.

I don't think I would sample any more of these shadows, although they are nice enough the design on the shadow is a pain, and you loose a lot of product which once on the brush can lead to fallout.

Thanks for tuning in

Miss Sporty So Clear Face Powder

I was browsing in Superdrug when this little compact caught my attention, a powder that states it is going to minimise pores, breakouts and imperfections on the skin. Well this I had to try due to it's bold statements.

The powder applies well to the face and does mattify the skin, I will admit when using this powder I didn't notice any massive breakouts and if I did they were only inherently small.

When applied to the face the powder did feel very lightweight on the skin, and it didn't feel like it was making drying my skin. I also noticed there was little to no oxidisation on the skin which is always a good thing (looking like you have been Tango'd is never a good thing).

Overall a really good powder and very inexpensive due to it's £2.99 price tag, I would purchase this again in the future as well.

Mini 3 for 2 haul

DISCLAIMER: I am not bragging, these are just some things that may show up in the blog at a later date.

As you all know Boots are on a 3 for 2 on cosmetics so I had some points on my card and thought it might help my spending urges until payday on Wednesday.

Collection Work The Colour - Sonic Blue

I love my blue polish especially when it can be construed as a Doctor Who blue and this can, it's a lovely pure blue colour and one I can't wait to try. I have noticed that they have done a repackaging and renaming of their nail polish, they seemed to have discontinued their 60 seconds Hot Looks line as well and the bottles remind me of Maybelline's Color Show bottles.

Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours - Popcorn

This is my first Miss Sporty nail polish so I do have high expectations of this, and for the first one it had to be this bright yellow to get me in the mood for Summer (we are nearly there YES!!).
This is from their clubbing colours range and there were some good colours in this range as well that I might have to splurge on.

Collection Work The Color - Blurple

The name just says it all this just stood out on the stand and called to me, it said 'even though you have a load of purple nail polish you need this one' who am I to ignore the call of nail polish.
It is a lovely dark purple that looks like it might be good for Autumn but who am I kidding this might be ending up on my nails tonight it's that nice.

What was even great about these polishes is that they are all £1.99 each, bargain or what!!

Thanks for reading my blog post and have you picked up any nice nail polishes recently (I'm always on the lookout for some good ones)

Thanks for tuning in

February Favourites

Welcome to my Fabruary Favourites:

1. KIKO Single Eyeshadow - 122 Mat Beaver Brown
This is one of my first foray into KIKO cosmetics, and I love this eyeshadow it such a lovely borwn and very pigmented, great for during the day especially when I am at work.

2. L'Oreal Eau De Teint Foundation - Porcelain
This is a great foundation, and one I will miss once it runs out, it is so lightweight on the skin you do hardly realise you are wearing anything. It would be a good foundation during the summer months due to the fact that it also has an SPF in and it is light on the skin.

3. Elegant Touch Rapid Dry for Nails
This was a recomendation from Simone over at ThirtyOAP, and thank you Simone this is a fantastic nail dryer, I sprayed my nails and after a minute they were fully set, this will be staying in my nail polish drawer.

4. Shade 10 - 2True
This is a lovely navy colour, I loved how easily it went onto the nail, and I couldn't believe how pigmented it was.

5. Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Holidays Mascara - Black
I am in love with this mascara, I love that the packaging is small but the brush is still quite big as it allows for you to easily use the wand.

6. Soap & GloryTM Super Fabu-LipstickTM - The Missing Pink
I love this lipstick, it's a light pink colour but it's just a touch brighter then your lips, now I'm not a big lipstick person, but I would wear this all the time it's just that good.

7. Miss Sporty Eyeshadow - 108 Romance
This is another of my favorites this month, I've been using this just on my lids for work but it can easily work as a base when doing a smokey eye look.
