Rimmel Apocalips

Rimmel Apocalips took the blogging world by storm everyone and their granny seems to love these, they come in 13 colours and I have 4 so far:

Eclipse
I picked this up thinking it was a lot lighter then it was, it is a lovely dark plum shade but with me it has the recipe for disaster. It is a very vibrant shade and a lot of confidence is needed before I could wear this outside.

Shooting Star
I was looking for a nude/brown shade in the range and I picked up shooting star, it is a lovely shade but when I put it on it matches my skin tone so I look like I have no lips, really not a good look. I think if you have a darker skin tone, then it would show up a lot more.

Big Bang
This is a really showstopping red, and an escape from the norm for me, I'm not the kind of girl that goes for any shade of lip colour other then brown, but I was feeling daring so this was chosen. It's a really nice red colour goes onto the lips quite easily and is really a statement red lip.

Celestial
This is a lovely nude pink colour, your lips but a tiny bit better, it looked fantastic on the lips and is a good colour to wear if you have a dramatic eye makeup effect going on as it keeps the attention on the eyes and not on the lips.

I do love these lip lacquers they are gorgeous, but I will have to admit that barring the nude brown colours they could do with some darker browns (I have a thing for brown, I need more colour in my life), overall I like them but let's get some more colours in the range.

Thanks for tuning in

    1. I agree it's so lovely to apply, Celestial is one that I've got down to purchase in the future as it looked like such a lovely colour.
