The Body Shop Big and Curvy Waterproof Mascara

As you know I am a massive mascara fan anything that is going to make my lashes look good, I am also always on the lookout for a good waterproof mascara (my collection is lacking mascara of the waterproof variety).

While I was in The Body Shop I decided to have a try at their makeup and picked up the Big and Curvy mascara in the waterproof version.

This mascara is the bomb, it seriously is unremovable it lasts for ages on the lashes (which can be a pain as you can be at the mirror for ages to try and take this stuff off), but I love it, because I know i I am going out on a night out, or to the beach, or anywhere where there is the minute chance I am going to get wet or sweat I know this stuff will not budge.

One thing that I am not a fan of is the brush, the brush is normal sized but the bristles are really short and some are almost non existent and this then creates my biggest pet peeve, TOO much product on the wand!!

I have found myself looking past this and actually liking the mascara, but as I said have a good makeup remover as this can be a pain to remove.

The mascara retails for £10.00 and can be found in your local Body Shop or online HERE.

This mascara may have too much product on the wand when removed from the packaging but I would repurchase this again as it just lasts.

Thanks for tuning in

As you should know by now from reading this blog I love an eyeshadow palette, always good to take away with you so your makeup bag isn't full of solo eyeshadows.

This is a gorgeous colour for Spring, and looks really great on the nails.

A great blusher that adds a nice flush of colour to the cheeks.

A great mascara that really lengthens the lashes and doesn't make them look clumpy.

Another favourites post, this one is full of some nail polish, shower products, and others, go and check it out.

February Empties
Jam packed with a shed load of empties (it still surprises me how much I can get through in a month)

Dr Bronner's Magic Soap

This was an enabled purchase by Lily Pebbles, I am always on the lookout for a good brush shampoo, while I was in London I headed to John Croyden & Bell and picked myself up a bottle of Dr Bronner's Magic Soap.

What I noticed when using this shampoo that you really do not need to use a lot as it lathers up really well with only the tiniest amount.

The lavender scent is what I have been currently using, and it is such a lovely scent but because it contains hemp it can have a bit of a mouldy scent.

The soap does really well when applied to the brushes as it really gets rid off all the makeup from the brushes and does leave them feeling soft.

What is amazing with this soap is that it also has a range of uses (Shower gel, shampoo, etc)

I will admit that I am going to try another scent when this bottle runs out as there are many different other scents in the range.

The soap can be found at your local TKMAXX or if your in London at John Croyden & Bell or at their online shop HERE and retails for £8.50.

As I said previously I would buy this again but I would like to try a different scent.

Thanks for tuning in.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

As you know I love a good mascara, and I have heard some great things about Revlon Lash Potion.

Revlon Powder Blush - Racy Rose

As you know since becoming a beauty blogger I have fallen in love with blusher, it adds a nice healthy glow to the face, so as with all makeup products I am looking for my holy grail.

The packaging on all Revlon products is beautiful, it is so sleek and simple showing some elegance, the packaging is quite sturdy so if placed in your makeup bag it's not likely to get broken.

Racy Rose Swatch

The blusher is such a lovely pink shade, I wouldn't say that it is all pigmented but it is buildable so allows for you to darken the shade if you want to when applied to the cheeks.

This is one of my favourites to use all year round as it is such a versatile colour and looks so great on the cheeks by adding a healthy glow.

The blusher retails for £7.99, which is about normal for Revlon, this can be found in your local Boots or Superdrug and can be found online at BOOTS and SUPERDRUG.

Thanks for tuning in

#Mani Monday - Mist - Barry M

Welcome to another #ManiMonday, we have now hit March and get ready for an influx of the pastels ready for Spring. The first up is Mist from Barry M.

Mist is a pearlescent blue shade from the Silk collection, this applies really well to the nails, this is such a great colour for Spring and looked so good.

The formula of the polish was really good, not too gloopy and didn't apply too thickly to the nail so dried really well. I applied 3 coats to the polish to make sure that it turned opaque, I really liked this polish and can see myself wearing it again during Spring.

Thanks for tuning in
